Tax Collection

The Office of Receiver of Taxes and Assessments in the Town of New Hartford, NY, was abolished effective December 31, 2011, after having been approved by qualified voters of the Town at a mandatory referendum held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011. 

The powers and duties of that office were transferred to the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of New Hartford, NY, on the first day of January 2012.

NOTE:  All unpaid Town and County taxes as of March 31st annually are

                    delivered to the Oneida County Finance Department, 800 Park
